The LIE that when you die your soul floats off to heaven is a myth from paganism that crept into Christianity.
It's a LIE rooted in the "I" of the DESIRE of Lucifer's heart to be like God (who only has immortality).....
P.S.-Man had access to eternal life via access to the Tree of Life in Genesis (which God took away) and man will have access again according to Revelation one day.
So, your immortality / eternal life is conditional.
It's not the same as God.
